i got my wish and it froze up again. so we went on a walk across water. Unfortunately the river was still thawed, but there are some large ponds around it that were frozen. people were out there ice fishing. from what i have heard from a canadian friend of mine, this is more about catching a buzz then a fish, but who knows?
meeshka seems to enjoy the open space too, i think that he would make a decent sled dog.

my trip to sevastopol was nice. the weather is actually nice this time of year. it was in the 50s-60sF but a bit windy. sevastopol has is a city on the crimean peninsula. it is somewhat of a trouble for ukraine, not only is the whole crimean aligned to russia politically, the russians have a navel base in sevastopol. this base causes constant problems for ukraine like moving their borders, commandeer light houses, etc.. on the other hand sevastopol is run by itself, long story, kinda like DC is in the states. being a military town it is tightly run and clean. lots of rules are actually followed there! which is not the case in most of the places i have been. it was not open to anyone, including ukrainians and russians, until 1996. i look forward to going back there in the summer when the weather is really nice.

I'm afraid Sasha is almost right. You're going to be contacted by MI6 from London. They're looking for a hit squad to take out Brat in the USA. I think they want you to comandeer one of those subs - the 12 inch version, with lettuce, olives and jalapenos.

Nelson.
